The Rocky Mountain House Kinsmen “Tanner Mayer Future Musicians Award” is granted annually to encourage talented young musicians to extend their music careers. The winning applicant will receive a $1,000 Music Scholarship Award.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be students currently attending school in Rocky Mountain House and/or at David Thompson High School.  Applicants must be under the age of 19 as of December 31 of the current scholarship year.  Students must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada.  Only original music will be considered.

Compositions which have previously earned awards or prizes in major national or international competitions are ineligible.

The Rocky Kinsmen Business Christmas Party is set to kick off Every December.  This event is open to all business within the local Rocky Mountain House area.  The event was a huge success in its first year in 2009 and we hope that it will provide a venue for local businesses to come out and enjoy the Holiday Season with there friends and staff.
